ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Ulrike Atzmueller, based in Vienna, Austria is a Yoga and Pilates teacher, Thai Nuad practitioner and Reiki master.
After spending most of her adult working life coordinating international medical conferences and gala events around Austria, Ulrike discovered Yoga and Breathwork as the most beneficial combination to reduce stress and foster wellbeing for herself.
After a few years of self practice, discovering all the beautiful benefits of movement in accordance with breath, she was longing to pass this knowledge on to other people, helping them to understand their bodies better.
Her teaching style best describes as a dynamic, creative vinyasa flow with a therapeutic approach. In her classes Ulrike wants you to move with joy, discovering poses and motion you might have not experienced in a Yoga class before. Always with focussing on strengthening the body, allowing the breath to guide and brain mapping to happen.
During the pandemic Ulrike used the time to build up her own online Yoga Studio where she teaches Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Meditation and Yoga Nidra. Additional to that she loves to treat her Yogis to Thai Yoga Bodywork in her own small studio in the heart of Vienna, organizing Ecstatic Dance Events and playing the harmonium, singing her heart out. You can find out more about Ulrike and her work on her homepage soulbliss.me
Lenka Minarik is a yoga teacher based in Vienna, Austria, who traded a successful scientific career for the equally fulfilling sharing of yoga. After working in medical science for more than ten years, Lenka felt that she was unable to directly positively impact people’s lives in the way she wanted to. She longed for more direct contact with people and a deeper connection with them.
Yoga had long been a significant part of Lenka’s life and she realized that sharing her passion and knowledge of the practice with others was her true calling. Her teaching style is based on her broad understanding of anatomy, knowledge of body reading, and unique instructions for navigating the body in asana, allowing her to guide her students to find stability and shift their abilities in a safe and effective way. Her classes are designed to strengthen the mind as well as the body, and she incorporates pranayama, kriyas, and mantra chanting into her classes, creating a holistic experience for her students.
In addition to leading classes in person in Vienna and online through her website lenkaminarik.com, Lenka also organizes teacher trainings and workshops for more dedicated yoga students throughout Central Europe.
